The system consists of a “SUB” speaker, protected by scratch-resistant paint, containing
three class “D” amplifiers with a total output power of 2000 watts, and a top speaker for
mid-range and high frequencies; the lot is driven by a powerful DSP.
The first 1000 watts amplifier drives the 12” woofer placed in the “SUB” speaker; the two
remaining amplifiers, a 2x500 stereo couple that is electronically limited to 2x300 watts,
drive two mid-range and high frequencies units, that are mounted on two aluminum stands.
DSP handles accurately the audio signal thanks to its functions of equalization, filtering, delay,
limiter and protection functions, without altering its phase. Thanks to the technology of FIR
filters, furthermore, it enables users to choose between four preset equalization settings, in
order to adapt the system output in all situations.
Such characteristics, as well as the careful attention in choosing and assembling all used
components, mark the difference between a high standard product, meant for professional
use, and average products.
